My students hail from a suburban environment. We are a Title I Elementary school that draws students from a variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, and includes onsite PBI, EL, and ERR programs. This group needs to be able to practice health guidelines by keeping their school materials separated.
Maintaining proper hygiene at school is critical to keeping brick and mortar schools open and safely running and give parents the confidence to have their child in attendance. Keeping each student’s personal supplies separated in an easy to wipe down, numbered plastic bin, will help my class prevent the spreading of germs in their classroom. With an individually labeled bin on a numbered shelf to hold all of their hands-on daily supplies such as scissors, pencils, pens, erasers, whiteboards, and markers, my students will be practicing our new motto that, “Caring is not sharing.”
