My Students

Our school is a neighborhood school of around 500 students (k-5th). It is located in the biggest district in the state and our district grows by about 2,000 every year. My classroom has very limited space and working with small groups is very hard. I work with small group at least 3 times a day and we work focused on skills they are not proficient on. This helps me give small group instruction to 3-5 students at a time. I would like to purchase a U table to use with my intervention groups. The U table would allow me to work more effectively with these students in a much smaller amount of space.

My Project

I would use this table in so many ways. It would be used for small group comprehension focus, small group math skills practice, small group re-teach, small group pre-teach, and advanced group instruction or project based learning. To have this kind of table will allow me to work with small groups to improve upon their skills and understanding of the content. This will allow my classroom to be more efficient and streamline, as well as saving a ton of space. It will also be used to have students tutor each other or teach small group lessons putting learning directly into the students' hands!
